It’s Chilly in Here

When you conduct paranormal investigations you never know what evidence you might be collecting until you go back days later to review everything. If you watch a show like Ghost Hunters on the SyFy channel, you will see them sitting at computers with headphones on going through the evidence. What you don’t realize is that the process is long hours and boring with hardly few payoffs. But when you get something amazing it’s worth the effort. Like I said in a previous post, the ghost seekers went to a fire station and we had some amazing things happen that night, shadow people, dark entities looming in pictures, malignant ectoplasm faces but none of this was quite as wild or exciting as the amazing EVP we picked up. EVP stands for electronic voice phenomenon. We use highly sensitive digital recorders and go into a dark room at midnight and ask the spirits questions. Sometimes we get answers but not while the session is occurring. When going back over the evidence, suddenly you have a ghost voice. This particular EVP was incredible as it was clear and not of the voice of the investigators. We were in the back unheated hall at the fire station and clear as a bell you can hear a voice on our recorder saying, “It’s chilly in here.” When I heard this for the first time, the hairs on my arms raised. Cool Beans, Baby!!

PREVIEW: Do you know what a seance is? Picture sitting at a table, candles lit, crystal ball, people holding hands with a psychic asking for interation from the spiritual dimension. Will the dead answer? I will let you know in a few weeks after I attend a seance. We have a world-renouned psychic there to lead the ceremonies. Just keep the Oija board at home please.

The Haunted Fire Station

I went on a ghost investigation the other night at a small town volunteer fire station. This is a place where the people work hard, live hard and smile easily over a smoke and a can of beer. A small town where Tom Brady could throw a football from one border to another. Places like this have fire departments that are run by hard-working and honest volunteers. The kind of people who tell the truth and are proud to carry their lunch pails to their blue collar jobs. The ghost seeking group felt this could be great as these large brave men with thick beards and large biceps are not afraid to run into burning buildings yet spirits walking the fire station caused them to run from the building in fear. We discovered that a long time ago a pub had been where the station now resided. It had been crumpled into the cellar and had dirt piled over the remains. The gin mill had been the host of a grisly murder and now a fire station had been built on its hallowed ground. The investigation was filled with sightings of a shadow person strolling through the garage, in between the fire engines. I was taking pictures and captured a dark entity looming over one of the female paranormal investigators. I also captured a malignant face in ectoplasm after the same woman. The freakiest thing occurred when I was in the second floor store room at 2 in the morning. The fire fighters had claimed that the gambling wheel, that they used for casino nights, and was in this storage room, would turn all by itself. We had a night vision video camera fixated on this wheel all night yet nothing happened until I arrived in that squid ink storage room. I had sat down with 2 other investigators to conduct an electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) session when I spoke aloud to the spirits. I said, “It would be nice if you came out to play. Turn the wheel. Show us.” When I was finished, the wheel suddenly clinked and moved. I was so shocked I could hardly believe it. This is what I tell non-believers and skeptics. When you least expect it, the paranormal will happen to you. Why wouldn’t there be ghosts? If you believe in heaven, an afterlife or reincarnation, why wouldn’t you believe in ghosts? Our souls are residing in our flesh husks waiting to be released. So watch out the next time you leave a wheel sitting around. A ghostly hand just might pierce the veil of our solid dimension and give it a whirl.

Gravesite of the Dead Girl

As a paranormal investigator, I have witnessed many things; ghosts, orbs streaking across a room, shadow figures peeking around corners at the witching hour, stalks of freezing cold air on a muggy evening but nothing would prepare me for the gravesite of the dead girl. The Ghost Seekers, of which I am a member, had decided to further investigate the tragic death of a teenage girl. She was sixteen when she was strangled, raped and left dead in the woods. She was petite, with long blonde hair and eyes so blue it would make a husky blush. The boys swooned at her beauty yet a murderer had taken her life, her looks and dreams from our realm. We had gone to the site of the murder by the fallen stone hut that was next to a babbling brook. It had been a place where kids drank beer, smoked grass, drew pentagrams and played Blue Oyster Cult till the sun peeked over the horizon. At that time we had brought along a world-renouned psychic. The medium tried to channel the spirit of the dead teen yet was blocked by an evil entity. I have the picture of the malignant ectoplasm demon to prove this happened and is 1000% true. We had decided to go around the evil spirit blocker of the light and go to the dead girl’s grave. It was a dark weeknight evening when we drove up the steep hill to the cemetery and through the path of crooked and moss-stained headstones to the place in the back where the newer dead resided. Where she was buried. Her eternal spot. The next hour was emotional and scary yet we sallied forth us vigilant ghost seekers along with our psychic. We planted flowers in the dark while saying prayers to her spirit. We asked the dark energy to stay away while asking the pure spirit energy to reveal itself. At this time low-flying clouds and mist hit across the cemetery hill with a wind that would fly Dorothy’s house. We knew our digital recorders would be spoiled by the wind noise but we went on with our afterworldly queries to the girl. Her energy would light up a flashlight and she would answer our questions as we tried to solve the mystery of the girl who had been murdered. To this day, decades later after she was murdered and raped, her killer has not been found. Digital pictures would show an array of orbs along with blue, red and blue light paranormal streaks but the chill bone moment was the ectoplasm smear coming out of the grave and going across the front of her gravestone, smudging out her name. I cannot reveal any more as this story has not concluded as there will be a seance. Yes, that’s correct: a seance. We will have the psychic there with her crystals, sacred stones and our colored candles. This will be as authentic as any you have seen in a televised drama. This will happen in January and the results will be posted here.
