Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine has purchased the debut story of a new Angela Zeman series:

“The First Tale of Roxanne.”

Planned for their May issue, the magazine will be available in news stands and stores at Feb 26th.

The time chosen is especially important as it will be the AHMM issue circulating during the Edgar Awards Week of the Mystery Writers of America. The “Edgar” is arguably the mystery community’s most recognized and prestigious award.

A “Second Tale of Roxanne” is forthcoming. Roxanne, a captured slave dragged by soldiers to Ancient Rome, pursues other plans for her life, none of which include slavery…of any kind.
